Here, you’ll receive love, understanding, respect and acceptance — no judgment, no shame, no stupid comments.

You don’t have to go through your ON. OFF. relationship alone.

A little note before we continue…

I sometimes write “he” or “him” because I write from my own experience. But ON. OFF. relationships don’t belong to one gender, one sexual orientation, or one kind of love.

Whether your person is a he, she, they — or you simply don’t care for labels — you are welcome here.
My door is open to everyone. 🏳️‍🌈❤️

ON. OFF. Relationships

You love. You leave. You miss. You go back.

You try to move on, but you feel stuck. You promise yourself, “This time will be different.” For a while, it feels like it is, but then the love is back. The chemistry is back. The hope is back. The passion and fire are back.

And then… somehow, the same problems, arguments, fears, insecurities, mind games and betrayal show up again. You fight. You distance yourself. You break up again. You swear, “This time, I’m really done.”

Until you miss the voice, the touch, the kisses, the jokes, the passion and the fire all over again.

Then comes the message.
The “I miss you.” The “Can we talk?”
The phone call.
And suddenly, you’re back where you started:
ON.
OFF.
ON.
OFF.

Sound familiar?

If it does, you’re not alone — and you’re definitely not the only one who has asked yourself:

“Why do I keep going back?”
“Why can’t I finally move on?”
“Why does it feel so good when we’re together and so painful when we’re apart?”
“Why am I not good enough?”
“Why doesn’t this person love me or want me?”
“What’s wrong with me?”

This is the world of ON. OFF. Relationships.

And somewhere along the way, the Relationship stops — and the Relation-Shit begins.

If you’ve ever felt trapped in an ON. OFF. relationship, you’re not stupid, weak or alone. You don’t need another person telling you, “You’re so stupid. I told you so.” Or, “Why can’t you just move on? I wish you could see what I see.”

You need a place where you can finally feel understood — without judgment.
Because sometimes, you don’t need someone to tell you what to do. You just need someone who gets it.

About

Hello my love.

I'M NAJIBA.

“Will I ever love someone else again, the same way I love him?”

Before I tell you more about myself, I want you to know one thing:
I’ve been in your shoes — not once, but twice. And holy fuck, thinking back, even I’m a little surprised. 😂
I spent years of my life caught in two long-term ON. OFF. relationships, including one that lasted almost twelve years. So when I tell you I know how hard it is to finally move on, I don’t mean that theoretically.
I’ve lived it. Twice.
READ MY FULL STORY ↓
The first time, I moved on from the relationship.
The second time, I moved on from the WORLD OF ON. OFF. RELATION-SHIT FOR GOOD.
I OFFICIALLY RETIRED. 😂
And then came something completely different: an almost eight-year relationship that wasn’t ON. OFF. at all. It was ON. The whole time.
But I eventually learned that staying together isn’t the same as being fulfilled.
Something was missing — and for a long time, I was too afraid to say: This is what I want. This is what I need. And if this relationship can’t give me that, I have to be willing to move on.
That lesson changed everything.
Because eventually, I stopped asking whether I was asking for too much and started believing:
I know who I am. I know what I need. I know what I’m worth. And I won’t settle for less than the love and relationship I want, need and deserve.
And thank God I didn’t.
Because that road eventually led me to the man who is now my husband. ❤️

It wasn’t just one relationship. It was a pattern. And learning to break that pattern changed my life.

I’m an On and Off Relationship Expert & Coach, and I know this cycle from the inside.
I’m dedicated to helping wonderful, smart, strong, ambitious people like you understand their own patterns and find their way forward.
Here, we explore the psychology behind the cycle — the good, the bad, the beautiful and the messy.
Most importantly, we’ll explore how to find your way forward: how to move on, break the cycle, open yourself up to a different kind of love, and build a loving, healthy, committed relationship.

You don’t have to go through your ON. OFF. Relation-Shit alone. ❤️

I’m so looking forward to being part of your journey. Thank you in advance for trusting me and allowing me to walk alongside you.
Lots of love
Najiba

PS: Always remember: YOU ARE ALREADY GOOD ENOUGH, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!

More About Me

Two worlds. One life.

I’m originally from the beautiful Central Asian country of Afghanistan. I was born in Moscow and grew up in Germany after my family and I fled the war in Afghanistan in 1991.
My story
I grew up in two completely different worlds at the same time. At home, I had a traditional Afghan upbringing, especially when it came to love, affection and romantic relationships. Outside, I lived a Westernized double life. That had a profound impact on my life, my mental health and especially my romantic relationships.
I’ve lived, studied and worked in different countries, including the UK, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Germany and Switzerland.
I’ve always had a vision of helping others find happiness and love regardless of their race, colour, religion, sexual orientation or the obstacles in their lives.
In my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful things in life is to love someone deeply and, at the same time, feel wanted, accepted and loved — JUST THE WAY WE ARE.
My whole life, I’ve been searching for happiness, love and the feeling of being wanted, valued and good enough. In my fantasy, being in love felt like the most beautiful feeling in the world. It felt and smelled like freedom, summer, sunshine and butterflies in my tummy. Like feeling fully alive. I craved that warm feeling.
But reality was often the complete opposite. Still, I’ve always been an unwavering optimist who simply loves L.O.V.E. I never gave up on finding that kind of love.
From a young age, I developed a deep fascination with human psychology and helping people. I combined my own lived experiences with my studies in positive psychology and coaching psychology.
I became an On and Off Relationship Expert & Coach, backed by a Master of Science (MSc) in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology — because, at the end of the day, I simply love L.O.V.E.
Today, I can look back and say that some of the darkest chapters of my life — my depressive periods, my breakdowns and the years I spent caught in two long-term ON. OFF. relationships, including one that lasted almost twelve years — became some of my greatest teachers. I would never wish the pain on anyone, but those experiences transformed me and helped shape the person I am today.
And now, I want to use what I’ve learned — personally and professionally — to help others transform their own lives.

If I can do it, so can you.

I truly believe that no matter what your dreams are or what challenges you’re facing, you have inner strength and the capacity to create meaningful change.
Fears

What if…?

What if I never love anyone like them again?

What if I lose them forever?

What if I'm simply not good enough?

What if I finally open up and get hurt again?

What if I leave… and regret it?

What if I stay… and waste more years of my life?

I KNOW. I HAD THEM TOO.

For years, I felt ashamed because I thought I was the only person in the world stuck in a crazy, toxic ON. OFF. relationship.

There must be something wrong with me.

Deep, deep down, I knew I was hoping that somehow my reality would magically turn into my fantasy relationship.
But admitting that to myself was hard. Admitting it to my friends and family was even harder.
I felt ashamed. Sad. Angry. Stupid.

How the hell did I end up here?

I blamed myself. I should have known better. Why did I ignore all the red flags? Why can’t I just move on? What the fuck is wrong with me?
I was a strong, smart, successful and ambitious woman — and yet I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t walk away from a relationship that was hurting me. Neither could the people around me.
Eventually, I stopped talking about it. I shared the good parts and kept the painful parts to myself because I couldn’t take the judgment anymore.
And that’s when I started writing THE RELATION-SHIT DIARIES™.

BLOG: THE RELATION-SHIT DIARIES™

The things I couldn’t say out loud to my friends and family

Dear Mr. X

What the hell is wrong with me?
Here we go again. We broke up. Again. I can’t take this anymore.
Loving you hurts so much, but I can’t stop loving you. I’ve tried sooooo hard not to love you. It just doesn’t work.
And the part I hate admitting the most?

If you called me right now and simply told me you loved me and wanted me, I know I’d come back. Without a doubt. I’d probably even run back to you without putting my shoes on… barefoot… I literally live on another continent now, and I would still pack up my entire life and move all the way back across the world just to be with you AGAIN. That’s how fucking hard it is for me to move on and stop loving you. Isn’t that fucking crazy? I wish I could just stop loving you.

I’m officially fucking crazy! I’ve lost my damn mind!

I hate feeling this way. I always feel like I’m not good enough for you. No matter what I do, somehow, it’s still never enough. IT’S NEVER FUCKING ENOUGH!

WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS SHIT?

I just want to be loved. Is that really too much to ask?

I’m tired of picking up a million pieces. I’m tired of starting over. AGAIN.

I wish I could just flip a switch and stop loving you. I wish I could just move on.

Enough is enough. I’M DONE.

EXCEPT…

I wasn’t. Not yet.

And I think that’s one of the hardest things for people who have never experienced an ON. OFF. relationship to understand.

Knowing that something is hurting you and being emotionally ready to leave it are two completely different things.

I didn’t stay because I was stupid. I stayed because underneath all the love, hope, chemistry, memories and attachment… there was fear.

The fears we don't talk about

Every breakup leaves something behind.

Fear of losing them forever.

Fear of being rejected.

Fear of getting hurt again.

Fear of not being good enough.

Fear of not being chosen.

Fear of being vulnerable.

Fear of looking needy.

Fear of trusting again.

Fear of wasting years on the wrong person.

Fear of leaving and realizing you made the biggest mistake of your life.

Fear that nobody else will ever make you feel the way they do.

And sometimes… fear of finally accepting that love alone might not be enough.

YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE.

Behind every ON. OFF. relationship is a story nobody else fully sees. And sometimes the things we’re most afraid to say are the things somebody else desperately needs to hear.

“I’m scared I’ll lose them forever.”

Behind every ON. OFF. relationship is a story nobody else fully sees. And sometimes the things we’re most afraid to say are the things somebody else desperately needs to hear.

— Janet, 34 | 3-year ON. OFF. relationship

“I need security. But I don't want to look needy.”

“If I wasn’t scared of getting hurt again, I would tell them that I need security and a healthy relationship. Something solid. But I don’t want to make a needy impression.”

— Michelle, 34 | 3-year ON. OFF. relationship

“I can't give her what she needs. But I'm terrified she'll find someone who can.”

“What I fear the most is that she will ask me for a proper relationship and commitment that I can’t give her at the moment… and that she will choose another guy over me.”

— David, 37 | 6-year ON. OFF. relationship

“Why am I still not enough?”

“Every time I took him back, a piece of me died and I felt so unworthy… What does she have that I don’t have?”

— Diwa, 29 | 6-year ON. OFF. relationship

Maybe your fear isn't the problem

Maybe nobody ever helped you understand what your fear is trying to protect you from.

WHY DO THESE FEARS FEEL SO REAL? ↓

Underneath “What if I lose them?” might be: “What if nobody ever chooses me?”

Underneath “What if I regret leaving?” might be: “What if this was my only chance at love?”

Underneath “I don’t want to look needy.” might be: “What if I show you what I really need… and you reject me?”

And underneath “I can’t move on.” might simply be: “I’m terrified of letting go of the future I thought we were going to have.”

Understanding that changes the conversation. Because now we aren’t asking: “Why the hell can’t I just move on?”

We’re asking: “What is keeping me emotionally attached — and what do I need in order to finally feel safe enough to let go?”

“I WISH I COULD JUST MOVE ON AND STOP LOVING YOU.”

I wrote those words when I genuinely couldn’t imagine ever stopping loving him and moving on.

I couldn’t imagine a version of myself who didn’t miss him. Who didn’t secretly hope he would come back, because deep down, I always believed that somehow, at some point, we would find our way back to each other… no matter what.

I couldn’t imagine a version of myself who wouldn’t drop everything the second he said, “I love you. Come back.”

I thought loving him was the only way I knew how to exist. And I thought I would just have to learn to live with the fact that he would never love me the way I loved him — so deeply, so intensely, so insanely.
Read the rest of my moving-on story
Back then, I couldn’t imagine a life where I didn’t love him anymore. I couldn’t imagine a version of me who had actually moved on, fallen in love with somebody else, and — here’s the really crazy part — actually received the same kind of love I was giving. I probably would’ve laughed and made a joke about it because the whole idea would’ve sounded absolutely ridiculous to me. “WWWWHHHHAAAATTTTT?! IS THAT EVEN POSSSIIBBLLEEE?! WHERE CAN I BUY THAT KIND OF LOVE?! AND HOW MUCH IS IT?!” It didn’t even cross my mind. Not for one second. The idea that a love like that even existed in this world sounded crazy, impossible, completely unbelievable. AAAANNNDDD that I, of alllllllll the peeeoooppllleeee in this world, would actually be one of the lucky ones to experience it?! Yeah. Right. That would’ve sounded like some cheesy Hollywood movie. Something far, far, FAR away from my reality — happening somewhere in a completely different universe…

Because my reality was a whole lot more RELATION-SHIT than relationship.

And somehow, I became the version of myself I once couldn’t even imagine.

I moved on…

Not because I stopped loving him.
Not because what we had wasn’t real.
I moved on because, for one tiny little second, I allowed myself to believe:
“Maybe I deserve more than what I’m getting”.
That was it!
One tiny second.
One tiny thought.
One tiny spark of hope.
But once that spark was there, I couldn’t unsee it.
Maybe there was more for me.
Maybe love wasn’t supposed to hurt this much.
Maybe I didn’t have to spend the rest of my life begging for the kind of love I was so willing to give.
And that tiny, tiny spark changed my entire life.
So I kept moving.
A little bit forward.
Then a little bit more.
And a little bit more.
Sometimes I went backwards. Sometimes I wanted to run straight back to him. But I kept moving.

Until one day…

I realized I had actually moved on.

And for the first time, I didn’t want to go back anymore.

Not because I didn’t love him, but because I finally understood that he simply couldn’t give me what I needed. What I wanted. What my heart and soul craved. What I deserved.

I finally stopped choosing him over me.

And once I truly understood that, something inside me changed. There was no going back anymore.

Oh god, I wish I could go back, wrap my arms around the old Najiba, hold her tight, and tell her:

“I know you think you’ll love him forever. But one day, you’re going to realize that you were always good enough, just the way you are right now!

Love yourself first — the way you love him.
Give yourself the same amount of love you keep pouring into him.
And just for onnnneeee tiiinnnyyyy little second, make yourself your own priority. Choose you. Just once. And see what happens.”

You don’t move on because you suddenly stop caring.
You don’t move on because the relationship meant nothing.
And you definitely don’t move on just because somebody tells you: “Just block him.” “Have some self-respect.” or “There are plenty of other fish in the sea.”
You move on when you begin to understand your attachment, your patterns, your fears, your needs — and, most importantly, yourself.
No shame. No judgment. No stupid comments. Just a safe place to finally talk about the shit you’ve probably been carrying around alone for way too long.

You’ve spent enough time trying to figure THEM out.
Now let’s figure out what’s keeping YOU stuck.

AND ONE MORE THING…

You don’t have to leave your relationship before you’re “allowed” to work with me.
You don’t have to be ready to move on.
You don’t have to stop loving them.
You don’t have to hate your ex.
You don’t have to promise me you’ll never go back.
And you definitely don’t have to pretend you’re stronger than you feel right now.
Come exactly where you are.
ON. OFF. Somewhere confusingly in between. Trying to leave. Trying not to go back. Already back. Heartbroken. Hopeful. Angry. Confused. Or simply fucking exhausted.
We’ll start there.
Because you don’t need another person standing outside your relationship shouting: “WHY DON’T YOU JUST LEAVE?!”
You need someone who understands why it’s so damn hard to do what part of you may already know. Someone who won’t shame you for being stuck in the cycle. Someone who gets why you went back.
I know. I’ve been there.

You don’t have to go through your ON. OFF. Relation-Shit alone.

BUILT ON L.O.V.E.

L.O.V.E.

I’m incredibly proud, as an Afghan woman, to have built a business around something I believe the world can never have too much of:

L.O.V.E.

I wanted to create a space where people feel seen, understood, accepted and safe enough to tell the truth — including the messy, embarrassing, “please don’t judge me for what I’m about to tell you” kind of truth.
Because I know what it feels like to love someone deeply, feel completely stuck, and be terrified to tell the people around you what’s really going on.
There is no shame here. And absolutely no judgment.
I don’t care where you come from, what colour your skin is, what you believe, what your gender is, who you fall in love with, what you look like, how much money is sitting in your bank account, or how wonderfully complicated you are.
You’re welcome here.
My company is built on love, humor, compassion, empathy, empowerment and positivity — with absolutely no room for hate or judgment.
You don’t have to arrive healed. You don’t have to have your shit together. And you definitely don’t have to pretend you’ve figured everything out.
I’m still under construction too. 🚧😉
We’re all works in progress.
Why my coaching is personal

That’s also why I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all coaching. Every person brings their own story, fears, patterns, experiences and version of Relation-Shit to the table. So every coaching experience is thoughtfully tailored to you.

Because no two people are exactly the same. Thank goddess for that. Otherwise, we’d all be extremely boring. 😉

Everyone deserves to feel loved, accepted, respected, understood and genuinely seen.

Not when you’re perfect. Not when you finally have everything figured out. Right now. Exactly as you are.

And I want this business to put a little more of that into the world.

Giving Back

LOVE THAT GOES A LITTLE FURTHER.

When you invest in yourself, a little bit of that love goes somewhere else, too.
With every service you purchase, I give back by donating to charitable organizations that support people in need, fight extreme poverty and inequality, and help provide essential human needs.
I have a special place in my heart for Ghana and Afghanistan.

Why those two?

I’m from Afghanistan, and my husband is from Ghana.
They are two very different places, but they’re both part of our story — and both mean an incredible amount to us. Our love knows no borders, and neither should our compassion. ❤️
So as this business grows, I want some of that growth to reach people beyond it.
Not because it sounds good on a website. Because giving back is part of the kind of business I want to build.

You invest in yourself. Together, we give a little love back.
